Dierk Berner (born July 7, 1957 ) is a German real estate agent and former handball player .

Berner first played at TSV Altenholz . In 1979 the right winger moved to THW Kiel , for which he played eight years in the handball Bundesliga . During this time he scored 250 goals in 202 games, 23 of them by seven meters , and was German runner-up with the zebras in 1983 and 1985 . From 1984 to 1987 he was the team captain of the THW, his successor was Uwe Schwenker .

Dierk Berner has worked for the Kiel food company coop eG since 1987 and has been a member of the management team since 2000. From 2006 he was an authorized signatory and from October 2013 to April 2014, after the resignation of CEO Gerd Müller, he was deputy board member. He has been a full board member of coop eG since September 21, 2016 and is particularly responsible for the real estate and commercial areas.
