Dierk Engelken

Dierk Engelken (born July 26, 1941 in Elbing ) is a German painter and sculptor .

biography

Engelken studied German , art history and political science in Bonn , Cologne and Düsseldorf . He also took courses in sculpture , painting and graphics at the Düsseldorf Art Academy .

From 1972 to 2001 he was a professor at the Pedagogical University of Rhineland Dept. of Cologne , at the Universities of Cologne and Bonn and from 1978 to 2001 head of the studio for art education at the University of Bonn .
