Dieter Annies

Dieter Annies (born December 1, 1942 in Elbing ) is a German politician and was an FDP member of the last People's Chamber in 1990.

A native of West Prussian Annies spent his school years in Görlitz and then graduated from 1958 to 1961 an apprenticeship as a plumber and fitter . In 1970 he qualified as a master craftsman and opened his own craft business. In February 1990 Annies became a member of the FDP and a little later became its district chairman in what was then the Karl-Marx-Stadt district . For the People's Chamber elections on March 18, 1990 , he got in his constituency the list position 3 of the electoral alliance The Liberals and moved as a member of the People's Chamber. On September 28, 1990, Annies was elected to the Bundestag by the People's Chamber of the GDR , where he remained until December 20 as a member of the Free Democratic Party (FDP). He ran unsuccessfully for the elections to the 12th Bundestag.

In the mid-1990s, Annies left the FDP. In the Saxon state elections in 1999 , he ran unsuccessfully as the top candidate for the right-wing conservative Pro DM .

Dieter Annies lives in Limbach-Oberfrohna and is the owner of a building services company .
