Dieter Czichowski

Dieter Czichowski (born November 9, 1938 ) is a German table tennis player . He took part in the 1959 World Cup.

Czichowski played for the club TS Riemann Eutin at the end of the 1950s , around 1964 in what was then the top German division Oberliga Nord at Hamburger SV and in the mid-1970s he moved to Blau-Weiss Buchholz.

1959 Czichowski was nominated for the individual competitions of the world championship in Dortmund. Here he was defeated by the Belgian Vojin Djordjevic in the individual. The doubles with Klemens Tietmeyer won against Frans Schoofs / Bert Onnes (Netherlands) and Boutros Moubarak / Georges Bafit (Lebanon), but then dropped out against Alsér / Ake Rakell (Sweden). In mixed with Karin Gier , he lost in the first round.

Dieter Czichowski's brother Peter took part in the international youth championships of Yugoslavia in 1955.
