Dieter Grosser

Dieter Grosser (born August 25, 1929 in Berlin ) is a German political scientist .

He initially worked as a primary school teacher in West Berlin until 1960 and also completed a degree in economics and political science at the Free University . After a doctorate (1961) and habilitation (1967), Grosser was appointed Scientific Councilor and Professor and Head of the Teacher Training Department at the Otto Suhr Institute in 1969. In 1970 he was appointed full professor at the University of Münster , in 1974 he went to the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich .

From 1972 to 1974 was the Grand President of the German University Association .
