Dieter Roth , (born February 18, 1983 in Blasendorf , Romania) is a German heavyweight boxer.

Amateur career

Dieter Roth won 45 of 56 fights in his amateur career. He was a three-time German junior champion and won the silver medal at the military world championship in Dublin in 2002, where he lost in the final against the Russian Alexander Alexejew by dropping out in the second round. At the German Championships in 2002 he was second behind Steffen Kretschmann due to a point defeat in the final .

As part of the fight between Wladimir Klitschko and the Argentinian Fabio Moli on August 30, 2003 in Munich , Roth lost to Stefan Köber on points; This was the first time in Germany that amateur boxers fought within a professional boxing event. Professional career
