Dieter Scharf (born December 31, 1943 ) is a former German ski jumper who started for the SC Traktor Oberwiesenthal . In the 1960s he held several hill records at times, for example on the hill in Kanzlersgrund near Oberhof .

At the GDR Ski Championships in 1965 in Johanngeorgenstadt , Scharf won the silver medal in the individual on the large hill. A year later he won the bronze medal in Brotterode . After he did not start in 1967, he finally won his first and only national title with a new hill record at the GDR Ski Championships in Oberhof in 1968 after a fifth place after round one.

After completing his active career, Scharf became a trainer at the Ski Club Carlsfeld before he worked as a sports teacher at the Pestalozzi Oberschule in Johanngeorgenstadt in the Ore Mountains .
