Career

The attacker Dieter Tippelt moved from the amateur team of TuS Arsten coming to Hamburger SV . From Hamburger SV then to Bundesliga club Werder Bremen in the 1972/73 season . The coach in charge in Bremen was Josef Piontek . Tippelt made his debut on the third match day, September 23, 1972, in a 1-0 home win against Rot-Weiß Oberhausen in the Bundesliga. In the 75th minute he was substituted on for Willi Neuberger . In the further course of the season he came to four other short assignments; he could not prevail against the other attackers in the Werder squad such as Werner Görts , Herbert L Bäumen and Werner Weist . Bremen ended up in 11th place in the final table and Tippelt joined SV Meppen in the North Regional Football League for the 1973/74 season .

Under coach Hermann Michel , he made his debut on August 8, 1973 in the 1-1 draw at VfL Osnabrück in the last season of the old second-rate Regionalliga Nord. Meppen finished eighth at the end of the round, while Tippelt had played 19 league games. Meppen could not qualify for the newly introduced 2nd Bundesliga for the 1974/75 season and played under the new coach Klaus Basikow in the AOL North. At the side of Hubert Hüring , Tippelt completed 27 games and scored four goals when reaching third place. This was followed by the other stations in the Amateur Oberliga Nord at VfB Oldenburg (52-7), again Meppen 1977/78 and at SV Atlas Delmenhorst 1978/79. In total, Tippelt has 103 games with twelve goals in AOL Nord.
