Diethelm Stehr

Diethelm Stehr (born April 21, 1945 ) is a Hamburg CDU politician .

Life

After graduating from high school , Stehr did military service and studied physics at the University of Hamburg . From 1976 to 1982 he worked at the GKSS research center . This was followed by a doctorate at the Helmut Schmidt University in Hamburg. Then he was employed as an expert for radiation protection and radioecology at TÜV Nord eV. Today he is a lecturer for radiation protection at the Helmut Schmidt University.

politics

He sat from 1970 to 2001 in the Harburg district assembly . From 1989 to 1997 he was a deputy of the environmental agency. He is also a member of the state executive committee of the CDU Hamburg.

Since October 10, 2001 he has been a member of the Hamburg Parliament . There he sits for his parliamentary group in the urban development committee and science committee. He is a specialist in agriculture.
