Diether Trede

Diether Trede (born February 16, 1932 in Burg auf Fehmarn ; † 2008 ) was a German football player .

Career

The striker Diether Trede began his career at SV Fehmarn and came to Holstein Kiel via Holstein Segeberg in 1954 . With the " Störchen " Trede was mostly used as a half-forward or winger. In 1957 he was runner-up with the Kiel team in the first-class Oberliga Nord behind Hamburger SV . After a 2-3 defeat after extra time against Kickers Offenbach , Holstein Kiel missed the qualification for the German soccer championship 1956/57 . Four years later he ended his career. He scored 37 goals in 158 league games for Holstein Kiel.

While Trede was still playing for Holstein Kiel, he was studying . After a legal clerkship at the Bismarck School in Elmshorn , he worked as a teacher for Latin and sports at the Max Planck School in Kiel. He later rose to the position of deputy headmaster of the high school .
