Dietmar Lumpe

Dietmar Lumpe is a German local politician ( CDU ) and was mayor of Freital from 1990 to 1991 .

Career

The Freital City Council elected on May 6, 1990 after the peaceful revolution , was constituted on June 6, 1990 in the “ Club of Stainless Steel Workers ”. He elected Lumpe as the first mayor after the reunification period and as the successor to Walter Daehn , who had been in office since 1972. In his tenure and a half year in office, Lumpe had to make important decisions for the future of the city in the changed political and economic system. Under him, a basic development concept was commissioned, which included, among other things, the first concepts for the bypass that was later implemented.

In 1991 he resigned for health reasons. He was followed by Wolfgang Böduel in office. Today Lumpe lives in Potschappel .
