The Dilbar was built from 2015 to 2016 at the Fr. Lürssen shipyard in Bremen and is one of the largest mega yachts in the world.

With a total length of 156 m, the ship ranks 6th in the list of the longest motor yachts . According to its measurement of around 15,500 GT, it is the largest yacht in the world (as of 2019).

The ship was built in secrecy and named Project Omar . The owner Alischer Usmanow replaced the Dilbar (now Ona ) of the same name but significantly smaller with the new building .

The outer shape was designed by the yacht designer Espen Øino. The British design office Winch Design was responsible for the interior.

Awards

The yacht was voted “Motor Yacht of the Year 2016” in the “Displacement Motoryacht 3,000 GT and Above” category.
