Dimitri Leonidas (born November 14, 1987 in London , England ) is a British actor .

Life

Dimitri Leonidas was born in 1987 in the London borough of Brent . His father is from Cyprus and his mother is British. He has three sisters - Helena, Stephanie and Georgina , the latter two of whom also work as actresses.

Career

Dimitri Leonidas has been acting since childhood. At the beginning of his career he had the stage name Shane Leonidas. In 2001 he was first seen on television in an episode of the British television series Casualty . In the same year he got the role of Josh Irvine in the BBC television series Grange Hill , which he impersonated for four years. He had his most famous role in 2009 in the horror film Tormented alongside Alex Pettyfer , Georgia King , April Pearson and Larissa Wilson . In 2010 he played Leonidas in Neil Marshall's Centurion . In 2012 he appeared as Anwar in the British television series Sindbad .
