Georgia King (born November 18, 1986 in Edinburgh ) is a Scottish actress .

life and career

Georgia King was born in Edinburgh as the daughter of actor Jonathan Hyde and opera singer Isobel Buchanan . She attended a private school in her childhood and youth.

King made her first television appearance in 2006 in the Jane Eyre miniseries as Rosamond Oliver . She has since made appearances in the mini-series Klein Dorrit , Off the Hook and Sugartown . In 2011 she appeared in the role of Suki in the film Two in One Day . Most known is King but by the role of Goldie Clemmons in the NBC - sitcom The New Normal . In the series, she played a mother who broke up with her husband and decided to become the surrogate mother for a gay couple, played by Justin Bartha and Andrew Rannells . However, the series was discontinued after a season.
