Jeníkovice (German Dingkowitz ) is a part of the municipality of Meclov (German Metzling ) in Okres Domažlice in West Bohemia in the Czech Republic .

history

Dingkowitz is first mentioned in 1312. In 1587 the place, which belonged to the Bischofteinitz rule, had five houses. In 1789 the place was listed with 13 house numbers and a farm with a sheep farm. In 1839 there were 112 residents.

1913 Dingkowitz had 134 inhabitants and a Meierhof with 119.76 hectares , which belonged to Prince Trauttmansdorff . Until 1920 made thing Kowitz with Wostirschen and Nemtschitz a municipality, it became independent.

In 1939 Dingkowitz had 127 inhabitants. In 1937 the parish had an area of ​​270.29 hectares.

After the Munich Agreement in September 1938, Dingkowitz was added to the German Reich and until 1945 belonged to the Bischofteinitz district .

In 1980 Jeníkovice was incorporated into Meclov. On March 3, 1991, the place had 33 residents; at the 2001 census, 40 people lived in Jeníkovice's 11 houses.
