Dipayal Silgadhi is a city ( municipality ) in the far west of Nepal and the administrative seat of the Doti District in the Sudurpashchim Province .
history
The city was created in 2014 by amalgamating various Village Development Committees . At that time, the urban area covered 74 km².
In the course of the restructuring of the local level and the creation of the Gaunpalikas (rural communities) by amalgamating and abolishing the Village Development Committees on March 10, 2017, the VDC Ladagada, Kalena and parts of the VDC Khatiwada and Baglek were also incorporated. The urban area increased to 156.77 km² as a result, the urban area grew to 126.26 km².
Residents
At the 2011 census, the VDCs, from which the town of Dipayal Silgadhi emerged, had 23,416 inhabitants (10,774 of them male) in 5,493 households. After the incorporation in 2017, the population grew to 32,941.

The city is located in the Front Himalayas on the banks of the Seti River at an altitude of 1310 m .
