Dirk Ofner

Dirk Ofner (born July 30, 1963 in Kassel ; † November 30, 2008 in Salzburg ) was an Austrian writer and lived in Salzburg. He was a cousin of the educationalist and evangelical author Harald Franz Ofner .

biography

Dirk Ofner was born in Kassel, Germany , in 1963 . He completed a cultural management course at the Art University Linz and lived as a cultural manager, taxi driver and freelance author in Salzburg . He has received travel and work grants from the Austrian federal government and the city and state of Salzburg.

Ofner began to write while still at school. In 1986 he founded the Salzburg literary table , from which the literary magazine erostepost emerged a year later .

Dirk Ofner died in Salzburg in 2008.
