Mathias Bollinger
Mathias Bollinger (born October 20, 1858 , † June 20, 1961 in Seesbach ) was a German forester .
Life
Mathias Bollinger supervised 1890-1925 the forest district Alteburg , Forestry Department Entenpfuhl in Soonwald , Hunsrück . From 1896 he moved into the newly built forester's house on the country road between Gemünden and Spabrücken , not far from the Trifthütte.
Mathias Bollinger became legendary through his development work in the Soonwald. After his retirement he stayed with the Soonwald. On the occasion of his 100th birthday, he shot a ten-denied crown stag. A capital oak on Landrichtweg was named after him.
