Seven (born October 18, 1978 in Wohlen ; actually Jan Dettwyler ) is a Swiss musician and singer specializing in R&B and soul .
Life
The son of a tenor and a pianist was a 15-year-old singer in the band Natural Acapella, which appeared in the SF DRS , among others . His first album Dedicated To ... appeared some concerts in 2002. This was followed by, among others as support of Destiny's Child in the Zurich Hallenstadion . His second album Sevensoul was released in 2004 and reached number 35 in the Swiss charts. The 2005 album Lovejam reached number 9 in the Swiss charts. This was followed by appearances in Great Britain and at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival . The album Home , which was released in 2007, reached number 5 in the charts and achieved a gold record . In February 2009 his album Like a Rocket was released .
In 2011 Seven released his first album in Germany entitled Focused and the accompanying single Lisa . In 2012 the album The Art Is King was released . In 2016 he took part in the third season of Sing my song - The exchange concert . In 2020 he hosted the first season of Sing my Song - The Swiss Exchange Concert of the TV24 TV channel .
Seven is married to his wife Zahra and has two sons.
