Dirk Sondermann
Dirk Sondermann (* 1960 in Bochum ) is a German author , graduated theologian and owner of a horticultural business in Hattingen .
life and work
As an author, Sondermann deals with regional legends and founded the Institute for Narrative Research in the Ruhr Area in 2003 . His collections of legends contain detailed background information as well as the geographic coordinates of the historical sites reported in them. He received support with the surveying in particular from Wolfhard Schlosser , an expert in archaeoastronomy . Sondermann's methods also include collecting legends from local people, including farmers, in order to find previously undescribed legends. One of Sondermann's favorite legends is the legend of Goldemar at Hardenstein Castle .
In 2010 Dirk Sondermann took part in RUHR.2010 - European Capital of Culture with the legendary Ruhr area project . He lives in Hattingen today.
