Ditsobotla ( English Ditsobotla Local Municipality ) is a local church in the South African district Ngaka Modiri Molema province Northwest . The administrative seat of the municipality is in Lichtenburg . Mayor is Daniel Tebogo Buthelezi. The community emerged from the merger of the Transitional Council of Lichtenburg, Coligny and Biesiesvlei.

Attractions
- Two museums on regional natural and cultural history are located in the city of Lichtenburg.
- A Dolomite funnel Wondergat with the size of 75 × 100 m on the surface and a maximum depth of 58 m is located in Molopo Oog on the border with the municipality of Mahikeng, approx. 60 km north of Lichtenburg. It can be used by divers.
