Dittmar Hahn

Dittmar Hahn (* 1943 in Altenkirchen (Westerwald) ) is a German lawyer who served as a judge at the Federal Administrative Court for over 16 years .

Life

Dittmar Hahn studied law at the University of Cologne . In 1970, after completing his legal clerkship , he passed the second state examination in law. After working briefly as a lawyer , he joined the judicial service in North Rhine-Westphalia and initially worked as a probationary judge at the Aachen Regional Court . From April 1972 he was first seconded to the Judicial Examination Office of North Rhine-Westphalia . In 1973 he was appointed judge at the administrative court and received his doctorate on the subject of “ intra-party democracy ” at the University of Cologne. He worked at the administrative court in Aachen . In April 1974 he was seconded to the Higher Administrative Court for the State of North Rhine-Westphalia in Münster for several months , and in June 1979 he became a judge at the Higher Administrative Court in Münster.

In the summer of 1992 he was appointed as a judge at the Federal Administrative Court. At first he belonged to the 1st revision senate of the court and during this time he had to deal with cases from the areas of citizenship , foreigners , police and regulatory law , as well as association , assembly , gun law and economic administration law. From the beginning of 2001 he became a member and deputy chairman of the 6th Audit Senate and remained so until his retirement at the end of October 2008. The 6th Senate of the Federal Administrative Court was responsible for police, association, assembly, weapons and Commercial administrative law as well as for cases from school and university law , the right to vote and the law of political parties, postal and telecommunications law and from the area of personnel and judicial representation law.

Act

As a judge, Dittmar Hahn had considerable influence on the highest court rulings on commercial administrative law . In addition to his judicial work, he published a. a. as the author of the legal commentary on the trade regulations published by Karl Heinrich Friauf . In addition, he was co-editor and co-author of comments on the building regulations of the state of Berlin and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
