Dmitri Ruslanowitsch Schukenow ( Russian Дмитрий Русланович Жукенов ; born March 24, 1997 in Omsk ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg since June 2019 and with Gornjak Uschaly in the Vysschaja Hockey League .

Career

Dmitri Shukenow began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of HK Awangard Omsk . The center was selected in the fourth round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft as a 114th player from the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League . In 2015 he went to North America to join the Saguenéens de Chicoutimi from the QMJHL .

International

For Russia , Schukenow took part in the junior division of the World U-17 Hockey Challenge 2014 (January) and the U18 World Junior Championship in 2015 .
