The Dmitriy Furmanov ( Russian Дмитрий Фурманов ) (German: Dmitri Furmanow) is a river cruise ship that was built in 1983 in the GDR in the VEB Elbewerften Boizenburg / Roßlau in Boizenburg and belongs to the Dmitriy Furmanov class , project 302, series I. The German name was BiFa 129М (inland passenger ship 129 meters) and the hull number 378. The ship was named after the Soviet writer Dmitri Furmanov , and the Dmitriy Furmanov gave her name to the whole class.
The river cruise ship with four passenger decks was built in 1983 at the German shipyard in VEB Elbewerften Boizenburg / Roßlau for the shipping company "Kamskoje Retschnoje Parochodstwo" (ГП Камское речное пароходство МРФ РСФСР) in Perm . It belongs to a series of 27 + 1 ( Vladimir Vysotskiy - not finished) ships of the Dmitriy Furmanov class manufactured from 1983 to 1992 , a further development of the Vladimir Ilyich class from the same shipyard. The ship has a diesel-electric drive with three main engines, was completely modernized in 1995 and used for foreign tourists. From the spring of 2012, Dmitriy Furmanov was released for the first time for Russian citizens under the brand “Инфофлот-партнер” on the Moscow - Saint Petersburg route . Captain (as of 2020) of the Dmitriy Furmanov is Pyotr Lipin (Пётр Максимович Липин). In the summer of 2012, the ship was in the ship repair plant in Perm.

All comfortable 1-, 2- and 4-bed cabins are equipped with air conditioning, a refrigerator, shower and toilet and a 220 V connection and have large windows (except those on the lower deck).
