The river cruise ships of the Dmitriy Furmanov class ( Russian Дмитрий Фурманов , German transcription: Dmitri Furmanow), which was also known as Project 302 or BiFa 129 M (inland passenger ship 129 meters), are river and canal-accessible inland passenger motor ships of large construction. The class is named after the first ship in the class, which bears the name of the writer Dmitri Furmanov .
history
The river cruise line was manufactured from 1983 to 1991. The VEB same shipyards Boizenburg / Roßlau in Boizenburg built ships own design, as lacking in the USSR corresponding Baukultur, 1973 by MinRechFlot as project 301 confirmed and thereafter modified in four No. 1 to 6 (302 I). 8 to 21 (302 II); 22 to 23 (302M); 24 to 27 (302MK) series differ slightly in terms of their external design. The last, 28th ship, the Vladimir Vysotskiy (Владимир Высоцкий), German transcription: Vladimir Vysotsky ) was not completed. With 27 units built, the type is one of the most successful designs of its kind. With a few exceptions, the naming was limited to personalities. The ships were deployed through the north-west (Северо-Западное), Volga (Волжское), Moskva (Московское), White Sea Onega- (Беломоро-Онего, Kеонг), Volga-Don- (Докое), Volga-Don- (Дожское), Камское) and Amur (Амурское) river shipping companies (речное пароходство) in Russia and China as well as the Dnepr-Reederei (Днепровское пароходство) in Ukraine mainly on domestic services of the rivers Volga , Kama , Don , Amur , Yangtze river and Dnepr including the coast of the Black Marine . After the collapse of the Soviet Union , the ships fell into the hands of Russian and foreign private companies. Three ships from the project 302MK: Arkadiy Gaydar (Аркадий Гайдар), Konstantin Stanyukovich (Константин Станюкович) and Aleksandr Grin (Александр Грин) were sold for lack of funds to China and rename them: Xian Na (. En Princess Sheena), Xian Ni (s. Princess Jeannie) and Xian Ting (en. Princess Elaine). The 302M and 302MK projects differ from the 302 project in that the wheelhouse has been moved forward, passenger seats on the sun deck and the lack of windows in the cinema.
technology
The individual ships differ, depending on the variant, due to minor differences in the size of the ship, the equipment with different engine types and other special features with which they were tailored to the respective application. The ships were completely modernized and rebuilt for new conditions, whereby the number of passenger seats was considerably reduced. The ships have a diesel drive with three Soviet four-stroke main engines 6ЧРН 36/45 (ЭГ70-5) with a turbocharger .
Furnishing
During construction, the ships were provided with single and double cabins as well as 1-, 2- and 3-bed cabins, all with washing facilities. There are also two restaurants and two common rooms available. The multi-bed cabins were later modernized, which led to a reduction in passenger capacity and increased travel comfort.
According to the draft, a restaurant for 180 and a second for 80 people was planned. Café-bar with dance floor for 79 people, music salon - 66, music salon with bar - 75, relaxation salon - 28, universal cinema - 102, bar - 75, solarium with berths - 100 as well as hairdressing salon, souvenir kiosk, library, sauna, buffet, telephone booth, first aid, sports and massage parlor.
