The Konstantin Simonov ( Russian Константин Симонов ) (Ger. Konstantin Simonow) is a river cruise ship that was built in 1984 in the GDR in the VEB Elbewerften Boizenburg / Roßlau in Boizenburg and belongs to the Dmitriy Furmanov class , project 302, German name - BiFa 129М - heard. Construction number: 382. The ship was named after the Soviet writer Konstantin Michailowitsch Simonow .

history

The river cruise ship with four passenger decks was built in 1984 at the German shipyard in VEB Elbewerften Boizenburg / Roßlau for the shipping company "Wolschskoje Retschnoje Parochodstwo" (Volga river shipping company) in Nizhny Novgorod . It belongs to a series of 27 + 1 ( Vladimir Vysotskiy - not finished) ships of the Dmitriy Furmanov class manufactured from 1983 to 1991 , a further development of the Vladimir Ilyich class by the same shipyard. In 2009, 2011 the Konstantin Simonov was used on the cruise route Saint Petersburg - Mandrogi - Kizhi - Goritsy - Uglich - Moscow , where it continued its service in 2012. Captain (as of 2020) of Konstantin Simonov is Aleksandr Nikolajewitsch Kasakow (Russian Казаков Александр Николаевич).

technology

The ship has a diesel-electric drive with three Soviet main engines 6ЧРН 36/45 (ЭГ70-5), two of which are clockwise and one counterclockwise, which act directly on corresponding 5-blade fixed propellers, diameter 1.8 m.

Furnishing

All comfortable 1-, 2- and 4-bed cabins are equipped with air conditioning, refrigerator, shower and toilet, 220 V connection and have large windows (except on the lower deck). On board are a restaurant and night club - restaurant, two bars (piano bar and coffee bar) - event room, sun deck with deck chairs, reading and music salon, sauna - on-board shop, reception - on-board doctor (first aid) and rubles are the currency on board.
