Dniester railway
The kk privileged Dniester Bahn (DB) (Polish Kolej Dniestrzańska (KD)) was a railway company founded in Austria in 1871 , whose routes were in Galicia . Today the former railway area is in Ukraine .
history
The name of the railway was derived from the river Dniester in its official spelling at the time. After the company concession of the Ministry of the Interior of April 26, 1871 (railway concession issued by the Ministry of Commerce) and the statutes approved on August 30, 1871 and the act of constitution of the same day, Aktiengesellschaft kk priv Dniester Bahn became a joint stock company on September 2, 1871 at the Vienna Commercial Court in registered in the commercial register.
After nationalization on May 1, 1876, it operated as the kk Dniester Staatsbahn .
From May 1, 1876 to December 31, 1883, the First Hungarian-Galician Railway operated on the Dniester Railway. The operation was then run for seven months by a kk ministerial commission, and from August 1, 1884, finally by the kk Österreichische Staatsbahnen (kkStB).
