Dobrá lies between Trenčianskou Teplou and Opatovou nad Váhom. On the street Cesta I. triedy 61 . The river Váh flows west of the village .

history

The place was first mentioned in a document in 1310, according to which the parsonage also paid the tithe to the Zobor monastery . In 1549 Juraj Antuš was mentioned as mayor. At that time the place had 30 farmers.

In 1874 a brick factory was built in the village. In 1956 a Jednotné zemědělské družstvo was founded in the place.
