Stredné Považie
The (tourism) region Stredné Považie (Slovak Strednopovažský región (cestovného ruchu) ; German about "Region of the Middle Waag") is a tourist region in Slovakia .
It extends following the southern course of the river Waag over the districts:
- Myjava (northern part except the municipalities of Brezová pod Bradlom , Bukovec , Košariská and Priepasné )
- Nové Mesto nad Váhom (northern part except the municipalities of Modrová , Modrovka , Nová Lehota and Stará Lehota )
- Trenčín
- Ilava
as well as the 3 municipalities Beluša , Mojtín and Visolaje in the Púchov district
The Severné Považie region , which is also marked by the Waag, closes in the north and the Dolné Považie region in the south .
