The Okres Myjava is an administrative region in the north-west of Slovakia km² with 26,669 inhabitants (2017) and an area of 326th
It is located in the Miawa hill country ( Myjavská pahorkatina ) and borders the Czech Republic in the north, the Nové Mesto nad Váhom district in the east, the Piešťany and Trnava districts in the Trnavský kraj in the south, and Senica and Skalica districts in the same region in the west .
Historically, it is located in the former Neutra county (see also the list of historical counties in Hungary ).
