Stará Lehota (German Altlehota - older also Althau , Hungarian Szentmiklósvölgye - until 1907 Ólehota ) is a municipality in western Slovakia .
The place was mentioned for the first time in 1348 and is located about 20 kilometers southeast of the city of Nové Mesto nad Váhom in the Inowetz Mountains .
