Dobrohostiw ( Ukrainian Доброгостів ; Russian Доброгостов Dobrogostow , Polish Dobrohostów ) is a village in the Ukrainian Lviv Oblast with about 3000 inhabitants (2001).
The village, which was founded in the 14th century and was first mentioned in writing in 1653, is the administrative center of the 60.459 km² district council of the same name in the south of Drohobych Rajon , to which the village of Bystryj with about 300 inhabitants also belongs. The village is located in the historical landscape of Galicia at the source of the Ulychanka ( Уличанка ), a 24 km long left tributary of the Kolodnytsya ( Колодниця , Dniester river system ), 15 km southeast of the Drohobych district center and 100 km southwest of the Lviv oblast center .
