Adriana-Doina Pană (born May 16, 1957 in Matei ) is a Romanian politician ( PSD ).

After attending the Bucharest Polytechnic University , Pană was a teacher from 1983 to 2002 and then deputy director at Colegiul Tehnic Bistrița until 2004 . In 2004 Pană became a district councilor in Bistrița-Năsăud County . In the same year she was elected deputy district chairman of her party Partidul Social Democrat (PSD) and in 2005 chairwoman of the PSD of the city of Bistrița.

From February to October 2009 Pană was State Secretary in the Romanian Ministry of Education, which was led by Ecaterina Andronescu , in the Boc I cabinet . She ran unsuccessfully in the 2009 European elections . Afterwards Pană was again deputy director at Colegiul Tehnic Bistrița and from 2012 district school inspector.

In the parliamentary elections in Romania in 2012 , Pană was elected to the Chamber of Deputies . In December of the same year she became Assistant Minister for Social Dialogue in the Ponta II Cabinet , of which she was a member until the cabinet reshuffle in 2014. At the end of June 2017, Mihai Tudose became Prime Minister, who appointed her to his government as Minister for Water and Forests . At the beginning of 2018, Pană announced her resignation for health reasons.

Doina Pană is widowed and has one son.
