Dolcetto delle Langhe Monregalesi
Dolcetto delle Langhe Monregalesi (also Dolcetto Langhe Monregalesi) is an Italian red wine from the province of Cuneo , in the northern Italian region of Piedmont .
The appellation has been included in the Dogliani DOCG appellation since April 27, 2001 and has no longer existed.
Since July 6, 1974, the wine-growing region in the municipalities of Briaglia , Carrù , Castellino Tanaro , Igliano , Marsaglia , Mondovì , Murazzano , Niella Tanaro , Piozzo , San Michele Mondovì and Vicoforte had the status of a Denominazione di origine controllata (DOC for short)
In 2008, 72 winemakers worked 44.96 hectares of approved vineyards (mostly as a sideline) and produced 1157 hectoliters of "Dolcetto delle Langhe Monregalesi". The yield restriction was 7000 kg of grapevine material / hectare with a maximum wine yield of 70 percent; the maximum yield per hectare was thus 49 hl / ha. The Dolcetto delle Langhe Monregalesi was made from 100% Dolcetto grapes . A minimum expansion period was only required for the Dolcetto delle Langhe Monregalesi "Superiore". This had to be stored for 14 months before it could be marketed.
