The Neolithic Dolmen de la Maison des Fées (German fairy house) is located about 700 m northeast of Miré on the D7582 road, near the confluence with the D 768 (Avenue du Haut d'Anjou) in the extreme north of the Maine-et-Loire department in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ). The 'dolmen of the fairy house' is owned by the municipality and has been classified as a monument historique since 1911 .

It consists of a trapezoidal ceiling slab that rests on four sandstone supporting stones . The stones in the north and south-west are particularly large. The chamber was almost square at about 3.0 m and over 2.0 m high.

When the road was built at an unknown time, stones from the dolmen were removed. There are no items found during the investigation of the dolmen.

According to legend, the dolmen was built by fairies. The traces of a fairy's head and hands should be visible on the cover plate.

Megalithic systems with the name part “Fées” are common in France. La Maison des Feins (actually Fées) is also the name of an Allée couverte near Le Bourg in the Ille-et-Vilaine department . The Dolmen Ti Ar Boutiged is nicknamed "La Maison des Fées".
