Domingos Mesquita

Domingos Canossa Caldeira Mesquita (born January 29 ) is a politician from East Timor . He is a member of the Partido Unidade Nacional (PUN).

Until 2007, Mesquita studied at the Universidade Nasionál Timór Lorosa'e (UNTL). Prior to that, he was Program Assistant at the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) under Sukehiro Hasegawa , and later Program Officer at the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF).

Then he moved to the retired PUN deputies José dos Reis Francisco Abel in the National Parliament of East Timor after, but was from 2008 to early 2009 because Conceicão João Maia represented. At the same time, Mesquita studied in Adelaide, Australia .

Mesquita remained in parliament until the 2012 elections and was a member of the Commission on Poverty Eradication, Rural and Regional Development and Gender Equality (Commission F). He ran at number 10 on the party list, but the PUN failed at the three percent hurdle, so Mesquita lost his seat.

After leaving, he got a job with the environmental agency.
