Dominic Storey

Dominic Storey (born October 15, 1989 ) is a New Zealand racing driver .

Career

Storey began his motorsport career like most racing drivers in karting . In 2006, he switches to single-seater racing and was fifth in the Asian Formula BMW . Only a few starts followed in 2007. Storey competed in three races in the Toyota Racing Series , the highest monoposto series in New Zealand, and two races in the British Formula BMW. In 2008 he completed the entire season of the Toyota Racing Series. With a podium place, he finished the season in seventh place overall. After he had made two guest starts in the Western European Formula Renault in 2008, he entered European formula racing in 2009. However, he was not given a cockpit for a full season in a championship. He completed the first four races of the Western European Formula Renault and the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup . He then took part in a racing weekend in the British Formula 3 championship .

After Storey had not competed in any racing series in 2010, he returned to racing in 2011 and competed for Pons Racing in the Formula Renault 3.5 on the first race weekend . Then Storey switched to the GP3 series , in which he received a cockpit for the Addax team in the 2011 season . After the second race weekend, however, he also lost his cockpit in this series.
