Dominik Burkhardt (born October 26, 1977 in Groß-Gerau , Hesse ) is a German athlete .

Since his youth, the lawyer has been one of the best German medium and long-distance runners on the track, in cross and road running and was a member of the German national team for several years. He celebrated his greatest successes in cross-country running, where he became German middle-distance champion in Darmstadt in 2005. In 2002 he was part of the German squad at the European Cross Country Championships in Medulin (Croatia) and wore the national jersey twice in cross-country and road running competitions. In addition, he was twice German university champion over 3000 meters in the hall (1999 in Fürth) and in cross-country running (2005 in Cologne). Dominik Burkhardt started for TSV Eschollbrücken-Eich, ASC Darmstadt, SV Creaton Großengottern, Eintracht Frankfurt, LG Neckar / Enz, PTSV Freiburg and since 2009 for TuS Griesheim . After studying law in Mannheim and Jena with subsequent legal clerkship at the Darmstadt Regional Court, he worked from 2008 to 2010 at the Landesbank Baden-Württemberg in Stuttgart, where he initially completed a trainee program in the area of ​​financial markets. Since 2010 he has been working as an in-house lawyer at the American investment bank JPMorgan in Frankfurt am Main.
