Dominik Kruczek (born November 11, 1991 in Mönchengladbach ) is a German - Polish soccer player . He has both Polish and German citizenship . He prefers to play as a central midfielder , but can also occupy the outer positions.

Career

society

Kruczek began his career at SC 1912 Wegberg, where he was discovered by Borussia Mönchengladbach at the age of fifteen . Therefore, he moved to Borussia during the winter break of the 2006/07 season. At the age of eighteen, however, Kruczek decided to move to Poland to GKS Tychy in the third Polish division . While he was only a substitute player in the second half of the 2009/10 season, he was mostly used as a joker in the 2010/11 season before becoming a regular player in the last eight games and scoring four goals. Due to this strong development, Kruczek was signed by the second division GKS Katowice in the summer of 2011 . There he came to five missions at the beginning of the 2011/12 season, but was no longer used from November 2011. At the beginning of the 2012/13 season, Kruczek fought for a regular place and came to another six missions, before he then dissolved his contract at the end of September 2012, as he found himself only on the bench again.

Then Kruczek returned to Germany and joined his home club SC 1912 Wegberg during the winter break of 2012/13. The reason was that he "wanted to switch off from football." He was used for both the club's first and second team, both of which, however, played in the B district league. Here Kruczek convinced and scored 58 goals in 44 games for both teams. High-class clubs took notice of him because of his good performance. In February 2014, Kruczek decided to move to the top division FC Wegberg-Beeck for the 2014/15 season . He signed a contract until the summer of 2016. At FC Wegberg-Beeck, however, he did not get beyond a reserve role for the entire 2014/15 season and only played eight games. In the end, he finished first with the team and thus made it up. The contract of Kruczek was terminated in April 2014 on June 30th and a month later the SC 1912 Wegberg announced its return. However, in June 2014 Kruczek decided - contrary to the previous oral agreement - to switch to the district league team Sportfreunde Uevekoven .

National team

Kruczek decided at the age of sixteen, during his engagement with Borussia Mönchengladbach , for a career in the Polish youth teams. For the Polish U-17s , Kruczek played an international match against the Austrian U-17s in the 2007/08 season . For the Polish U-18s , Kruczek played two internationals in the next season and scored one goal. After that, however, he was no longer nominated.
