Dominik Prokop (born June 2, 1997 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

society

Prokop started his career with SC Team Wiener Linien . In 2005 he moved to FK Austria Wien within Favoriten , where he also played in the academy. In March 2013 he made his debut in the third division team. After almost 70 games for the amateurs, he was in the professional squad for the first time in February 2016. He made his professional debut in April 2016 when he came on as a substitute in the final phase of the home defeat against SV Grödig . On October 20, 2016, Prokop scored his first goal in the Austria jersey in the game against AS Roma .

After 86 Bundesliga appearances for Austria, he left the club after the 2019/20 season after 15 years.

National team

Prokop played for the first time in September 2012 for an Austrian national youth team. In August 2013 he made his debut for the U-17 selection . He played his first game for the U-18 team in September 2014 against Slovakia . In March 2015, he played his only game for the U-20 team against Mexico . In July 2015 he finally played for the U-19 team for the first time .

In March 2017 he made his debut in a friendly against Australia for the U-21 selection .

Personal

His brother Lukas (* 1999) is also a soccer player.
