Dominik Raneburger

Dominik Raneburger (born February 17, 1989 in Lienz , Tyrol ) is an Austrian film and theater actor .

Life

After attending compulsory school, Dominik Raneburger graduated from the Bundes-Oberstufenrealgymnasium Lienz , where he passed the Matura in 2007 . He then did his community service at the hospital of the Barmherzigen Brüder in Vienna . Since 2008 Raneburger studied acting at the renowned Max Reinhardt Seminar , from which he received his diploma in 2012.

Raneburger got his first role at the age of 14 in Jo Baier's homeland film Schwabenkinder ; who was nominated for the German Television Prize and the Adolf Grimme Prize and won the Bavarian Television Prize and the Television Film Prize of the German Academy of Performing Arts. After that, it would take another five years until he was again in front of the camera as an actor in Tatort: ​​Granit in 2008 . This was followed by guest appearances in the crime series Quickly determined and SOKO Donau .

In addition to his work in front of the camera, Raneburger is also an actor on theater stages, for example at the Schauspielhaus Wien and the Reichenau Festival . In 2012 he was also seen in Trust by Falk Richter at the Théâtre du Centaure in Luxembourg and in the world premiere of "Die Lipizzanernummer" by Jean-Paul Maes at the Théatre National de Luxembourg . In addition to his native German, Dominik Raneburger speaks not only English and French , but also Luxembourgish .

Since the 2014/15 season he has been a permanent member of the ensemble of the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus.
