Dominik Rotter (born July 8, 1990 in Vienna ) is an Austrian football player in the service of SC Wiener Viktoria .

Club career

Rotter began his career in the youth of Rapid Vienna . In 2006 he moved to 1. Simmeringer SC for the first time , before moving on to AKA Admira Wacker Mödling in 2007 . Despite the 11 goals scored in 24 games in the Austrian U-19 Toto youth league, he was denied promotion to the amateurs.

As a result, he moved back to Simmering, where he was integrated into the A-team. With ex-professional Alen Orman he formed an offensive duo, which was able to achieve a total of 54 goals this season. 39 of them were on the account of Rotter. The Simmering, supervised by the former Rapid Vienna player Karl Brauneder , was then with a goal difference of 118: 31 champions in the Vienna Oberliga A and rose to the Vienna City League .

In the 2009/10 season he played 5 city league games for Simmering before surprisingly signed a contract with German second division Arminia Bielefeld that ran until 2011 just before Christmas . In Bielefeld he should initially play in the second team, but made his debut on February 5, 2010 in a 2-1 home win against SpVgg Greuther Fürth in the professional team. He came on the field in the final minute of the game for Pavel Fořt . Two weeks later he made his debut on the starting line-up in the home game against MSV Duisburg . After only one season, Arminia Bielefeld dissolved the contract in agreement with the player.

In February 2011, Rotter moved to the Austrian second division club SC Austria Lustenau .

On May 4, 2019, he drew attention to himself when he scored twelve goals in a 13-0 victory against bottom of the table FV Wien Floridsdorf on matchday 25 of the Vienna City League 2018/19.

Rotter is the son of the former Austrian national player and later assistant coach of Peter Pacult at SK Rapid Vienna , Leopold Rotter .
