Dominik Schwaiger (born May 1, 1991 ) is a German ski racer . His strongest disciplines are downhill and super-G .

biography

Schwaiger is a sports soldier. In December 2006 he took part in an FIS race for the first time in a giant slalom in St. Moritz . In 2008 he suffered a broken shin. On March 27, 2011, he became the German giant slalom champion in Götschen at Jenner. On October 23, 2011 his first World Cup race took place in Sölden in the giant slalom, on December 3, 2013 he finished second in a European Cup race, also in the giant slalom in Klövsjö / Vemdalen (Sweden). After having only achieved 21st place in the World Cup on February 2, 2014 in St. Moritz and 19th place on December 20, 2015 in Alta Badia as the best World Cup results in the giant slalom, he succeeded in the parallel giant slalom in Alta Badia on December 21, 2015 with fourth place a surprise success.
