Dominique Simone Bosshart (born October 7, 1977 in Morges , Switzerland ) is a former Canadian Taekwondoin . She competed in the heavyweight division.

successes

Dominique Bosshart won the bronze medal at the Pan American Games in Mar del Plata in 1995 and in Winnipeg in 1999 . In 1999 she was also runner-up in Edmonton . She won the title twice at the Pan American Championships: 2000 in Oranjestad and 2006 in Buenos Aires . She also won bronze four times at the Continental Championships. In Olympics Bosshart approached twice: in 2000 she divorced after a victory in the first round against Natalya Ivanova in the quarter-finals. In the subsequent round of hope, however, she won both fights and received the bronze medal. At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, she lost both in the first round of the main round and the round of hope.
