Dominique Kivuvu (born September 16, 1987 in Amsterdam ) is a Dutch - Angolan football player . The midfielder has been under contract with ZSGO / WMS since summer 2019 .
Career
Kivuvu's career began with Stormvogels Telstar , where he was promoted to the squad of the first team that played in the Eerste Divisie in 2005 . After one season he was signed by the NEC Nijmegen honorary division . From summer 2010 he was under contract with CFR Cluj in Romania . After he was hardly used in the first half of the 2011/12 season, he moved to Mjällby AIF in January 2012 on loan to the Swedish Allsvenskan . He became a regular in Mjällby and returned to Cluj in August 2012. There he was not used in the 2012/13 season. From summer 2013 he was without a club for 18 months. At the beginning of 2015 he was signed by the Angolan club Kabuscorp FC do Palanca , and in mid-2015 he moved to rival Progresso Associação do Sambizanga . From summer 2016 to mid-2017 he played for FC Oss in the Dutch second division. From February 2018 on he played for VV DOVO Veenendaal in the Hoofd class for almost five months . Then he moved on to VV Dono Doorwerth and a year later he signed a contract with the Amsterdam fifth division club ZSGO / WMS .
National team
Kivuvu was the captain of the Dutch U-20 national team in 2007 , before the Angolan Football Association campaigned for him because he has both Dutch and Angolan citizenship. In the run-up to the Africa Cup of 2010 , he decided to compete for the Angolan national soccer team . On October 10, 2009 he came in the friendly against Malta for his first use.
