Dominique Na'Shai Lamb (born December 5, 1985 in Phoenix, Arizona ) is a former American volleyball player .

Career

Lamb began her career at Chandler High School. From 2004 to 2007 she studied at the University of Arizona , where she played on the University of the Wildcats. After completing her studies, she wanted to start a professional career, but tore a cruciate ligament . She had to undergo several operations and therefore initially worked as a junior coach. In 2010 the middle blocker went to Europe and played at TVC Amstelveen . She took part in the Challenge Cup with the Dutch club . In 2011 she moved to the Italian first division club Riso Scotti Pavia . During the season Lamb played with the Romanian club CVM Tomis Constanța at European level in the Champions League and then in the CEV Cup . In 2013, the American was signed by the German Bundesliga club Rote Raben Vilsbiburg . With Vilsbiburg she reached the round of 16 in the CEV Cup . In March she won the DVV Cup with the Rote Raben and a few weeks later she became German runner-up . Then she returned to her homeland.

family

Lamb is the niece of American sprinter Dwayne Evans , who won a bronze medal in the 200 meters at the 1976 Olympics .
