The Carfax 250 is a race in the NASCAR Nationwide Series , a touring car series that takes place annually at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn in southeast Michigan . It was first driven as a 200 mile race in 1992. In 2000 the distance was extended to 250 miles, this distance has remained unchanged to this day.
