Don Fedderson

Don Fedderson (born April 16, 1913 in South Dakota as Donald Joy Fedderson , † December 18, 1994 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American television producer . Fedderson and his production company have been responsible for more than 15 successful television series.

Career

The producer Don Fedderson was the founder of the production company Don Fedderson Productions . In the early 1950s he founded another production company together with the author George Tibbles and the actress Betty White . The series Life with Elizabeth was produced with Bandy Productions , which was initially broadcast on local television from 1951 and nationally from 1953 to 1955. From 1960 the series My Three Sons with Kenneth Washington , William Demarest , Beverly Garland and Tim Matheson was produced by Fedderson. The series was to be seen on American television on ABC and CBS until 1972 .

In addition to his work as a producer, Don Fedderson was also active as a writer of several scripts. Among other things, he developed the concept of the series Lieber Onkel Bill , which was successfully broadcast in the USA from 1966 to 1971 and also in Germany from 1968 .

At 1635 Vine Street , Don Fedderson's work for television earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame .

Life

Don Fedderson was last married to Yvonne Fedderson , who took over the chairmanship of Don Fedderson Productions after his death . He has several children, for whom he made the leap into the acting business easier with small roles in his series.

Don Fedderson died at the age of 81. He was buried in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles.
