Donald Edward DeGrood
Donald Edward DeGrood (born February 14, 1965 in Faribault , Minnesota , USA ) is an American clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Sioux Falls .
Life
Donald Edward DeGrood received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis on May 31, 1997 through Archbishop Harry J. Flynn .
On December 12, 2019, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Sioux Falls. The Archbishop of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, Bernard Hebda , ordained him episcopal on February 13 of the following year at Sioux Falls Cathedral . Co- consecrators were his predecessor Paul Joseph Swain and the co-ordained Andrew Cozzens , auxiliary bishop in Saint Paul and Minneapolis.
