Life
Donald Lippert joined the religious order of the Capuchins and made perpetual profession on August 20, 1983. The Coadjutor Bishop of Saint Thomas , Sean Patrick O'Malley OFM Cap, dedicated it on June 8, 1985 priests .
On November 22, 2011, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Mendi. He was ordained episcopal on February 4th of the following year by the Archbishop of Boston , Sean Patrick Cardinal O'Malley OFMCap; Co- consecrators were William R. Fey OFMCap, Bishop of Kimbe , and Stephen Reichert OFMCap, Archbishop of Madang .
